Happy...

Yesterday I went to a harp concert at the Sawy Center. I went with the idea that I will not really enjoy myself. I did not think that the concert would be very good and I was never really into the harp anyway.
I went, and I enjoyed myself more than I can explain.
I do not know if it is because the music was great. I do not know if it is because I like these kind of sophisticated things. I do not know if it was because of the people I was with. I only know that I had a great time.
Sitting there and listening to the music made me feel that the world is a nice place. Sitting there made me realize that regardless of all that is going on in my life I am happy.
I used to play the cello when I was young. I used to play the flute when I was young too. I quit both. I was not great at either... but I wish I had not quit. I wish that I continued playing both, or either, or anything really.
I do not like the fact that I quit.
I wish I could play an instrument.
The band and the harpist were both great.
I have decided that I will attend more concerts at Sawy. I have almost decided that I will start playing an instrument.
I have decided that last night made me happy and I like that.
I hope you are all happy too!
Remember to smile as much as you can today!

NORA! i am going to get on your case and get you to start playing the chello or the flute again!
It's a great hobby and the fact that you've done it as a kid will make you learn it easily.

Hobbies are great - you should get one!

insomniac,
I do not think it is too late. Well, I used to until I met a person who convinced me that it is never too late. he's 27 and learning how to do backflips and stuff...
So, it is never too late... you should start learning again!

superluli,
I think getting on my case to do it would be a great idea! I am not sure that learning again would be easier.. I said I was not very good.. I do not think I actually learned anything! But, I still think it would be fun... Want to learn to play something? We can learn the same instrument if you want a hobby!

:o)

I am glad that you're happy :)... we used to play the flute at school but it always made these funny noises I guess probably because none of us could play... you should go for the chello, sounds cool

Samurai Girl,
Hey girl! When I played the flute it made funny sounds too! I know I was playing it wrong... and I am sure anyone around me knew that I was playing it wrong too...
Maybe I will go for the cello... I quit playing it because I hated carrying it. I am a very lazy person! Maybe I can play one and keep it wherever I am gonna play it!

That guy,
I am not sure if I can do it.. but when I try I will definitely entertain you with tales of my embarrassment!
:o)
